In my view, examining the effects of different types of training is very important to assess the importance of training and make the distinction between various training. Both types of training have equal benefits for the organization. General training would contribute to the worker's general skills and further help increase the worker's productivity. There is not much investment in general training. On the other hand, firm-specific training provides the workers with the firm's specific training focused on only the current range of employers.
